WoW wont let me install only download ? HELP NEEDED

Ok so, I just invested in MoP today after watching Streams and the live EU event last night. (got hooked instanlly again!)

Well my problem is that my genius friend told me that i wouldn't need to use vanilla first then go to TBC Wrath etc.... to install the game he suggested that I just put in my Cata disc and start installing asap!

It WORKED! it automaticly told me that i didn't have any wow installed on my pc and asked if it should install the entire game.

Now the entire game was installed up to cata. I then inserted the MoP Disc's that I'd just picked up from a retail store. it didn't Start the installation, it just started downloading 19 GB's of updates and i'm guesing that its the entire MoP Game its downloading now.

so my over all question is: How do i make it STOP downloading everytime i try to run the MoP Installer and just install it from the disc?
