I learned I hate tailgaters. I also learned that my driving teacher hates tailgaters as well, he had me switch lanes to let the guy pass so he could get the tailgater's license plate number and send it into the DMV. Seriously, what kind of prick tailgates a car with the new driver sign on the top. ;____;

The most important thing to remember when dealing with tail gaters and road ragers is that the best way to deal with them is to look at them and smile, maybe even wave politely. This makes them even more angry than if you rolled down your window and told them to go fuck themselves.

In my state the driving exam is like 5 minutes long. You only leave the parking lot once and that is only to drive 50 feet and then make a quick stop. Since the standard is so low many drivers here fail at basic things like signalling when they change lanes. I think driving tests should be more more difficult because I hate when people do not signal. Not signalling should be an automatic fail during a driving test.

as far as tail gating goes, i just make sure I slow right down to the speed limit then ride my brakes a tiny bit so it looks like i'm slowing down.
