Like, I've always considered mana to be real, right? Hear me out here. God, the soul, heaven, psychic powers, paranormal readings, ghosts, mediums etc. Whenever we hit a wall we mark the wall with a big X and move on. But what exactly is a ghost? What is heaven? How does psychic powers work?
I think there's an energy source. The buddhists calls it Nirvana. Christians call it heaven. Warhammer 40k calls it The Warp. Many call it the soul. I call it mana. An energy that we do not understand, that we might never understand, but it's there. I don't know if you've ever watched Fullmetal Alchemist, but they have a really nice way of explaining it. There's an energy in everything, down to the atoms this energy roams around creating power, life, colours etc. In that universe they are able to tap into that, to twist it and subdue it. Something we can't.
I think 'god' is non-existing. But he still exists, but not in a way of a white-bearded man. Of course not. Not even in humanoid shape. But a seeming energy, quantom-physical, random, full of power. And we're all connected to 'it', because we have it within us too. That's why humans have an almost psychic connection sometimes. Why we need to be with other human beings. We form society, we train and utilize this power. We call it the soul, the mind. Cosmos. But isn't it all just terms for the same thing? An energy source that we can't comprehend. Like infinity, our brains do not function enough for us to pick up on it. So we let it be, tell tales about it, give it more names, build more cultures around it.
I think it's fun.
