What I would do use the oval creation tool if there is one and have a stroke border.

Terrible. It's worse than my drawings.

On a more serious note, it is rather good, but I dislike how Octavia and Dash look. They don't seem drawn very well. I think you can improve on drawing ponies from angles other than the front.
