    Advice on this cheap pc

Hey all, i currently play wow on my Sony Vaio laptop thats a few years old now and starting to show. My kid plays on a desktop pc which is grinding slowly to a halt with wow too.

Looking to buy a cheap enough pc for him, and possibly me too. Don't want to play wow on max settings, fair/good is fine enough for us.

This one is on sale in PcWorld (in the uk) for around £300. Graphics card seems horrible but i *think* it has a slot so i can buy/install a seperate graphics card instead?

Not 100% so if someone can help and advice that would be awesome. Thanks

The G card is non existent. and the CPU is terrible.

Look for a PC in your range from retailers here

and look for parts listed here

if you're willing to buy a graphics card to go in the system you originally posted, you may as well buy a barebones from a proper PC company and get the extras you need.

http://www.novatech.co.uk/barebonebundles/ there are some pretty decent systems to start with here. a couple of my friends have purchased some of these. they're well built and the only extras you will need are a hard drive and graphics card!

Better to build yourself at that budget.

It's a nice base however, but it needs a stand-alone graphics card to be viable for gaming. (HD 2000 is integrated and comes with the CPU.) This and something like a Radeon 7770 wouldn't be an all-bad gaming machine for under £400, but the cost would be far less if you build it yourself:

    Extreme Budget Gaming 380
    MoBo: ASRock H61M-DGS$44.99
    CPU: Intel Celeron G530$48.99
    RAM: G.Skill 1333MHz 2x2GB$19.99
    GPU: MSI Radeon 7770$124.99
    HDD: WD Caviar Blue 320GB$64.99
    PSU: Antec VP-450W$34.99 Review
    Case: NZXT Gamma$39.99 Review
    --------------------------------------------------
    Estimated Total Price – $379

    Recommended for:
Budget gaming build that can handle most
newer games. Offers great value for money.
