Exclamation Old World Delves and Old World Follower Dungeons

I would personally LOOOOOOOOVE to see both these added in more of a small batch function.

    Old World Delves

Bael'dun Digsite; Join Brann (A) or Baine(H) to discover the mysterious history history of the area. See what happened between the dwarves and the shamanistic spirits, and the battle between the Horde and Alliance.

Magistrates Temple: seen in Rexxars trials in WCIII, discover the secrets of the ancient magi and the more recent, from Tabetha and Magweyn to Aethas Sunreaver and Ari.

Plunder Isle: Plunderstorm to Plunder Isle; fight off Pirates and get the treasure. Join Flynn and fight a time traveling pirate dragon!

    WoD Farahlon

    Old World Follower Dungeons

While they would never added all the dungeons and convert them to follower, they could add a few favorites.

WotLK - Azol'nerub or Ankahet - Join Bolvar (A) or Saurfang (H) in their quest to bring the might of the Alliance or Horde to front door of the Scourge and the Lich King, Arthas Menethil himself.

TBC - MGT - Join Liadrin for Horde or Alleria for Alliance and take down Legion and their newest Commander, the traitor Prince Kael'thas Sunstrider.

Legion - Cathedral of the Night - Join with Anduin and attempt to stop Mespiroth from gaining the Aegis of Aggramar.[/FONT]

I could see Delves being expanded to older zones, and perhaps being something that players could venture into well before max level. I think that sort of interaction with the game world is vital to a healthy gameplay experience.

When you're new to Azeroth, it's easy to succumb to being captivated by the world you're in because you don't know what's next. A human enters the game world in Elwynn Forest, which is a lush, picturesque verdant landscape. Redridge Mountains, although it's adjacent to Elwynn Forest offers a completely different sort of environment. Redridge is filled with titular red ridges that give the zone its name, and they stand out against the bright blue sky(box). Duskwood is dark and spooky, and is vastly different to the previous two zones.

However, as a veteran, you know what's around those corners. You know what to expect from the zone. What if that weren't the case, though? What if Duskwood were just a little darker? What if Redridge was shrouded in fog and heavy rain? What if Elwynn Forest was in a blizzard? What if tucked away in a cave in Elwynn Forest a Delve happened to be available? Venture in and fight some gnolls, goblins, orcs, kobolds, spiders, etc. for a hefty reward, be that loot such as heirlooms (or heirloom upgrades), pets, toys, or giga-experience (a level or two)? That would be cool!

Follower dungeons were a way for Blizzard to test their Delve technology in advance of The War Within Alpha. All current expansion dungeons will be configured for the Follower system. However, Blizzard must change it to be all the current season's dungeons. If people want to use the system to gain familiarity in the dungeon, on a new role, or both, then allow that. Also, limiting the system to only Normal difficulty is helping no one. The system should support Normal, Heroic, and Mythic difficulties.

Realistically, currently using the Follower system to train on a new role or for a Mythic+ season isn't currently viable.

There are 3 reasons this will never happen.

First is blizzards obsession with end game and getting people to max level as soon as possible.

Levelling is too fast so people wouldn't do the delves or probably even get far enough into levelling to do them

and lastly, blizzard is also obsessed with most recent expansion content being the only content that scales to max level... Stomping legacy content is boring and that's one of the reasons people don't do it but Blizzard don't really get this.

The only way we fix this is to scale everything to max level like other MMOs and add map completion goals to wow

Since this would require actual work by blizzard beyond end game only content it will never happen.

Blizzard don't seem to understand the value of a solo end game experience even if it doesn't provide amazing rewards.

There's like nearly 20 years of content in wow and most of it never even gets a glance due to the way blizzard do things.

Fact is you can still have seasonal content provide the best stuff while having a ton of max level content for people who don't want to opt into the seasonal stuff.

Also players don't realise that there are ways to scale to max level without diminishing player power that much

They could easily repurpose a lot of cave systems and underground areas if they did delves in older areas, which I actually would love to see. Personally though, delves are mostly just a solo-convenient option and not really an encouraged system to do with others without a queue system. This means that anything which isn't relevant and / or new means it will be solo-doable only. Which on the flipside is sort of a bad system then, if it's new and no one will be doing it except leveling players / completionists. In any case though... This won't happen anytime soon unless Ion is no longer the director.
