Time to strap on your big-boy-pants and get questing.
You aint playing Hello Kitty Island.
This is a mmo-rpg. Stuff takes times. Deal with it.
Personally I don't see any problems with what is said in this comment in general also.....but then: After reading this comment I thought, is this a game we're talking about? A game people play for fun, enjoyment in their valuable free time? And these pay for this game?
People managing things in a game they bought and are paying a sub for and they are managing their time and activities within that game.... NOT TO GET BURNED OUT?
Sry for tha caps... but this I find ridiculous for a game. I heard people getting burned out due to their job.. hell, last year 3 of my collegues burned out. I thought that we (as company) where doing something wrong because of this many burn-outs. And then I read these forums and find that people get burned out playing a game for which they pay a monthly sub!!!! And there are a lot then 3!
Should I think that we're too soft as a company by having only 3 burn-outs? If people are willing to get burned out and pay to do it, well then they wouldn't mind putting the same effort in their jobs for which they get paid, isn't it?
Am i the only one that likes the shadow-pan dailies?
Aye mate
People play, or at least should play, because it's fun. If you choose to play MoP, nothing becomes mandatory, because playing itself isn't mandatory. There is no content that is blocked due not doing dailies. Can't use your VP's? Well, good news! VP items are not mandatory. Can't get all mounts in the game just by afking in SW/Ogr? Too bad, won't even bother with this one. Can't get all the recipes? Well, just buy stuff from AH then. At this point you should maybe re-evaluate what mandatory means.
What to do besides dailies? I dunno, it's so major content that there's probably nothing to do besides them.
As a achive hunter I have nowhere to go but do them, but honestly I'd rather slice my wirsts.
The new Blizz massive daily requirement is just to keep you playing longer as they're running out of ideas and just coming up with crap just so they can keep you sub'd for longer.
It's August Celestials
Dailies are the wprst thing ever in an MMO, I've hated them since they were introduced.
Most people hate levelling, who thought dailies as a good design? It's the same as levelling...
the worst part about it is that tailoring recipes are gated behind rep, so there is really no way to make money as a tailor unless u are gonna do dailies to get ur rep up. That is called being forced.
"Who the hell are you?"
"Er, my buddy is totally best friends with you guys, so I was wondering if I could too?".
Anyway, I just hope they will be adding more and better items to the exhalted rewards tab in the future. 489 items get replaced pretty quickly, and then you kind of feel like you wasted your time grinding all that rep.

People are complaining about the dailies way too much. If all you want is revered with the VP factions, that's only a few dailies per day, and you're probably revered by now anyway. Not to mention it'll take weeks for you to get the VP to actually buy the gear.
That's your opinion, and others have differing opinions. I personally hate what they have done with the dailies. Given my limited playtime for the past month, my majority of time in the game seems to be doing daily quests. It irked me enough that I cancelled my subscription and told them exactly why, because I truly felt it was the only way to communicate my displeasure.
Have you heard of the critically acclaimed MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV? With an expanded free trial which you can play through the entirety of A Realm Reborn and the award winning Heavensward expansion up to level 60 for free with no restrictions on playtime?
That's not an opinion. What I said was, there's only a limited amount of factions you want to be doing if you need gear, you only need to do them until revered, and if you started right after you hit 90 (I hit 90 two weeks after mop release) and been doing them every day since then, you're revered with all of them now. And if you're revered right now, you probably don't have enough VP anyway. Nothing about that was an opinion.
That's exactly what you should do...
Well tbh there's enough variation in it with a few special quests that are somewhat different. I think it's balanced OK really. If all quests were designed to be more special then they would become boring too...i had hoped for fun daily quests and/or better rep gains to make it worth my time, clearly they failed to do that.
If it's worth it you'll do it, apparently it's not worth and you don't do it.... I decided I wan tth estuff but not gonna wear myself out. So I do 1 or 2 factions at the same time, not the same factions each time and not even every day, just when I feel like it. Not like I really NEED anything, so it's OK that it takes longer, still have at least a year to go befor enext expansion I expect so no rush.It will bother me since i wont get the profession specific items that they offer, but im not gona waste my time competing for quest objective items for hours and hours on end, i get enough of that from Golden Lotus, Klaxxi, Tillers and Order of the Serpent dailys (rotten move to tie the new mounts to Order of the Serpent Exalted to be able to ride them)
Which makes putting those type of items behind dailies a stupid idea since you have to wait anyway. Now instead of maxing out rep whenever you wanted to with tabards you gotta do a series of mind numbing quests everyday. Then those unlock more dailies to just unlock more dailies. I have plenty of other things I can find to keep me entertained in WoW than doing quests everyday just so I have something to spend my VP on. The entire design of all of this to make up for Cata when they had gaps between raid content patches isn't as enjoyable for some as much as others.
at the end of the day, you choose what you do, if you dont like it, dont do it.
These type threads are becoming pretty boring.
If you want something badly enough you will work for it, Blizzard have provided us with more options than ever to gear up
Don't want to grind all the dailies, fine don't do them, just do a few to get the minimum rep you need - It will take you time to accrue the valor to spend anyway. Or don't do them at all.
Complain about doing quests ?? why ? you more than likely completed loads while levelling up anyway ?!?
I think the main issue here is - it just seems too daunting/too much effort for some people.
The complaint about dailies conceals the deeper problem, that WoW's end game just became uninteresting. This expansion made me realize that, and account cancellation was not far behind.
