Best MoP Leveling Pet (85 - 90)

Hey guys
Assuming the best 85 - 90 spec is BM whats the best kind of pet to use?

I'd go with a spirit beast if your leveling as BM because of the heal. If your not leveling as bm I'd go with a wolf pet for the crit buff

Water Strider, since you can't fly, water walking is so helpful imho.

Im running around with Loque'Nahak now as BM. I recommend a spirit beast for sure if ur BM. I also have Terrorpene and Sambas for Surivial spec. Terrorpene is a great tanking pet

I'm using a Tenacity specced Ghostcrawler. He just won't go down.

Get a spirit beast if possible for the self-heal and mastery buff, otherwise just get a Cat. The mastery buffs offered from both types of pets will improve your DPS the most in solo-environments.

I leveled as Surv with Wolf pet, I never needed any healing, just spec for Spirit Bond and have it glyphed for 10% extra healing, works wonders

I did whole 85-90 with my Turtle... No aggro issues. Never.

spirit beast for mastery + heal, or a hyena/serpent offering 10% haste which is probably the best buff.
it actually doesnt really matter, you can specc every pet ferocity, thus the dps difference isn't that huge, it's just the individual skills(buffst mostly) that differ, but thats not that significant while leveling.
having a corehound in the backpack would help for killing the occasional elite/rare :-)

As SV/MM:

Any turtle to tank any mob that is elite.
Any wolf for everything else because of the 5% crit buff (its massive in ratings and doesnt go down as you level)

as BM:

Any spirit beast for the heal+mastery and cool effect.

Shale Spiders / Ferocity Spec => 5% stats

I used a tanking shale spider, 5% stats and the web wrap were pretty nice

Leveled as MM with a tenacity turtle. Held aggro great.

I'm using my raptor and its faceroll easy. Can take down 3 - 4 mobs at once and only remain at 88% health. Faceroll easy.

I used a tenacity specced Spider of all things even as BM. Holds aggro great and if someone tries to gank you, you can have your spider root them then either run away or keep this person at range.

Went with a tank specc'd Magria for the aoe stomp/additional healing done to pet. Keybind the spirit mend and enjoy.
