yeah if you look at the projected map on cnn (the calculator has it as default) then all obama needs is florida and ohio to win, thats just the least amount of states too.

The chances of cali going red are about the same as Texas going blue.

Actually, Texas might go blue in the next 30-40 years, assuming the Democrats don't screw something up terribly, it's not the Republican stronghold of previous years.

I don't see it happening for at least 20 years. But it'll happen soon enough, I think that the Republicans are losing seats over time, especially with the loss of the Latino vote.

Gotta go where the money is, and sadly there's a lot of right wing extremist funding in the Republicans, which is a damn pity because the party has some great moderate right people who can contribute to national politics at a meaningful level.

That said, I'd also like to see Gary Johnson hit the 5% just to open up biggest change in the electoral process, but that might well be a fantasy.
