yeah if you look at the projected map on cnn (the calculator has it as default) then all obama needs is florida and ohio to win, thats just the least amount of states too.

Yeah, I could definitely see this happening, but it won't happen today.

I'd be surprised if Obama won Indi anyway.

CNN has been calling it a tie for the last 9 months, and would probably continue to do so if all 500 odd seats on the EC went to one party.

I don't see it happening for at least 20 years. But it'll happen soon enough, I think that the Republicans are losing seats over time, especially with the loss of the Latino vote.

If the Republicans can pull it together over the next 20 years and move away from the whole right wing extremism thing, I could see them holding onto Texas, but not if they continue like they are now.

As demographics change they’ll move toward the center.

If Romney looses, bet on Christy/Rubio ticket versus Biden +1.

Gotta go where the money is, and sadly there's a lot of right wing extremist funding in the Republicans, which is a damn pity because the party has some great moderate right people who can contribute to national politics at a meaningful level.

That said, I'd also like to see Gary Johnson hit the 5% just to open up biggest change in the electoral process, but that might well be a fantasy.
