    My Build So Far

Been Looking On Web Tonight, here is what i have come up with so far. Ill have a few questions as i list each component would be much appreciated if you would care to answer them.

    Case
Cooler Master Elite 430 Windowed Case - Black - £34.99

Is This Case Big Enough ?
Is their a better one for around the same price if not cheaper ?

    Memory
    Samsung Green (MV-3V4G3D/US) 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C11 1600MHz 30nm Dual Channel Kit - £49.99
    OR
    8GB (2x4GB) Corsair Vengeance Racing Red 1866MHz CL9 DDR3 Dual/Quad Channel Kit - £39.54

Which one of these is better or are their any better one's for under £50 ?

    Sound Card
Asus Xonar DG 5.1 PCI Sound Card with built in Headphone Amp - £21-21

    MotherBoard
    Asus Sabertooth 990FX AMD 990FX (Socket AM3+) DDR3 Motherboard - £134.98

Honestly, i know nothing about motherboards if anything, if possible is their a good one i can get for a cheaper price ?

    Hard Drive
    Western Digital Caviar Blue 500GB SATA 6Gb/s 16MB Cache - OEM - £46.97

General Thoughts on The Hard Drive ? I will be getting another 500GB down the line

    Graphics Card
    ZOTAC GeForce GTX 560 Ti OC Edition 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card - £189.95

I have heard this one is good, i have not really looked into gpu's any suggestions ? no more than £200

    Processor
    AMD Bulldozer FX-8 Eight Core 8150 Black Edition 3.60Ghz (Socket AM3+) Processor - Retail - £134.40

    Or

AMD A10-5800K Black Edition 3.80GHz (Socket FM2) APU Trinity Quad Core Processor - £95.99

    Or

    AMD Bulldozer FX-4 Quad Core 4100 Black Edition 3.60Ghz (Socket AM3+) Processor - Retail - £79.99

Will The 6/8 core one's make huge difference in performance ? im not looking for anything major fast, just a strong rig.
Any better processors out the ? no more than £140

    Power
Corsair Builder Series CX 600W V2 '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply - £47.99

    Will I need a bigger PSU ?

    Optical Drive
    Samsung SH-S222BB/RSMS 22x DVD±RW SATA ReWriter - £19.99

Dont want anything fancy i doubt i will hardly use it.

    Network Card - ????
Now this i am completely clueless about, my internet is pretty poor i have around 20 mb/s anyone give me sone ideas ?

    OS
    Windows 8 Basic - £64.99

Will Windows 7 Premium or professional be better Windows 8 Basic ?

    And finally,
will all these components work with one another ?
Any suggestions on any different components to consider?
Forgot to add, will i need any cooling to go with this build ? if so what?

    ---------- Post added 2012-11-05 at 01:23 AM ----------

Ill mainly be using the pc to play wow, LoL and some other games and hopefull for frapsing/streaming and some photoshop work. and i live in the uk!:P

Case: it will be plenty big
Memory: Corsair from my experience has been solid so go with that
Soundcard: i just use onboard which is plenty fine but if you know you need the headphone amp then go for it i suppose
MoBo: Asus is always priced higher so look for a Gigabyte 990 or even 970 and it will lower the price quite a bit. TBH if you are going strictly games I would recommend going intel (see CPU recommendation below)
HDD: fine choice though budget permitting add a SSD even if just 60gb for your OS and utilities as it will greatly enhance its operations
GPU: 560ti is a good card though I would see if you can find a 7850 as they are starting to dip below the 200 threshold. If you can stretch it though the 660 (non ti) is a great choice at just about the 200 threshold
CPU: I would go intel i3 series if on a budget or i5k series if you can stretch. For gaming Intel is much better...the extra cores from AMD do not apply to games...yet anyway
Power supply: that is more than enough. You could get away with a good 500w if you could find one cheaper
    Optical: fine choice
OS: Windows 8 is in its infancy and will likely be fine...for less headaches (potentially) I would recommend Win 7 Home Premium 64bit.

Do you know if i would need any cooling, and do you know any cheap network cards ?

MBs have on board networking so you don't really need a network card.

http://pcpartpicker.com/uk/part/evga...rd-02gp42662kr cheaper and next gen same series (560 >660) however it is the non TI version since that would be 30 pounds more expensive and wasn't sure if you want that (if possible it is worth it on performance level for sure)
also what sound setup do you use in order to make good use of that sound card? (headset/speakers? and if so which because a soundcard might not be needed and that would be some easy money saved)

AA ok so i wont be needing a network card or sound card, thats good to know! some money saved their and that graphics card is nice, will that be a lot better than the one i have chosen ?

While intel is better no game is having issues being maxed on an 8150 or 8350, nor would you consider either a budget cpu, unless your talking budget enthusiast cpu. Outright if you like AMD and want AMD most of these forums will preach the i5 simply because it can produce more, realistically unless your doing fresh windows install w/ minimal task/threads in use you will not see that performance on the benchmarks. The Fx-8350 is the best option for AMD and disable the 4 minicores on an 8150 can turn it into a powerhouse, people forget nearly a week after FX release enthusiasts were able to pull i5 performance from the cpu with a little tweaking. Yes most if not all PC builders/enthusiasts like to tweak, intel has no real tweaking or extras you can do except O.C. and its like click click click 4.5Ghz YAY!

while somewhat true so far amd hasn't been able to match the sheer power/core compared to intel's line-up
as for OP the GPU has a fan already and for cpu perhaps something like a hyper 212 will do very nice. (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835103099)

These are World of Warcraft forums: http://www.anandtech.com/bench/CPU/62 . 3570K has 126.2 FPS where as the flagship 8350 has 91.5 FPS. Pretty big difference. Especially since the 8350 is the same price as the 3570K.

dunno much about streaming but i think it would be barely or not able to (some of the streamers around here can gladly help you with that question :P)

Just a heads up that if you intend on getting the 430 make sure to order at least a couple of fans. It comes equipped only with 1 frontal 120 if I recall right. I used one for my wifes build and its a decently structured case the only 2 problems I had with it is the window is fairly flimsy and a high rpm fan will rattle it sometimes and the back metal plates covering the slots are very flimsy.
