I recently rolled pandaren mage alt to check out how pandas look and feel.
I rather dislike all this asian stuff, but since i love all silly/"fur" races i thought pandas could be ok.
What really drove me off was this "kung-fu" style movement and emotes. After i saw backpedaling animation, i logged out, deleted him and made an undead

OT - I have a 90 female pandaren monk and am working on a female pandaren warrior. I love how we finally gotten a chubby race.

I was dubious about Pandas, and I think an entire expansion based on them still is a bit goofy, but I do play a female panda Monk as my main currently, and I love the shit out of her.

The animations are great, it's very fluid and the experience overall has been a blast. The biggest issue I have with Pandaren are...they make the other races look so incredibly dated. We really, really need the old models to be updated.

I don't understand the hate for the female Pandaren model, though. I personally find the male one to be a bit too goofy and obese to play. I don't mind big characters; personally I think there needs to be more customization to our character models, which is actually why I want to tone down the male fatness a bit.

But overall I've been pleasantly surprised and impressed with the whole Panda experience.

I play a Pandaren Arms Warrior, and a Pandaren Brewmaster Monk, both male and around level 20. I actually love the 2h animations for them, especially with a 2h katana.
