Arcane explosion bugged?

I was in MSV earlier and my arcane explosion was hitting 12 mobs for 13k dmg combined....is this happening with any other mages?

probably not bugged, i would guess you either had ress sickness or the mob had some sort of dmg reduction thingy.

most likely the trash before stone guard.
if the big guy is kept in the group the mobs will have 90% aoe dmg reduction if im right.
