Greatest Computer Games of All Time

I still think that the best game inn the world is Warcraft 3.

...what? You may think, but I'll elaborate for you!

Warcraft 3, inn itself with its addet exspansion, and further improvements to battle.net, E-sports scene, etc was epic.

But what really makes it stand out it was what the community did for the game, something Blizzard surely couldent have forseen when they launched the game as an RTS.

1. Tower Defense games. Come on, so many variations of maps from Warcraft 3, witch led to many other different tower games and whatnot. Most popular is prolly Plants vs Zombies.

2. DOTA. Vi sitta her i venten och spilla litta Dota (did I get the swedish langue right ?). While I personally never liked DOTA, LOL etc, you haft to have lived under a rock not to see what DOTA did to gaming industry, a hole new genre of game.

3. They broke with the traditional RTS rules, build a base and win, by adding good story, and hero characters. And ofcourse it was the stepping-stone to WoW.

Half-Life 2: Deathmatch ( MP of Half-life 2 ) because its rampage , like TF2 has rampage

After a while you should set up a poll or way to vote on the games in the list submitted on the site you have in the original post. Otherwise eventually everyone will just be putting down the names of different games. It won't go anywhere unless the list is voted on. I'd have to say WoW is the greatest in terms of success.

I'm thinking either have it so people can vote for all the games (up to 100) that they think should be in the list. Or have a ranking type where people can rank 10 games with 1-10 points.

Psychonauts, otherwise known as one of the best games ever barely played by any one. There are a lot more good games ofcourse, but this one just is hardly ever mentioned.

Ahm.. No1 is nominating Total War series... I must say I am surprised. In my book those games are one of the best RTS games ever made... to date!

WoW.. As some1 said before, can't rate it.. Is to good!

3 - Mafia (the first one)
4 - Assasin's Creed.. pretty much any of the last three before AC3(didn't try it yet)
5 - StarCraft Brood war

I will stop here since the next ones in my mind are quite far behind this top 5... Maybe GTA gets kinda close to these. Fable was such a .... huge potential..
