Windows 8 won't come out of hibernation

So I have an Acer Aspire 5315 laptop which I put windows 8 on and for some reason whenever I turn it on it goes to a loading screen that says Hibernating and stays there. I was wondering if you guys had any idea on how to fix it.

Best guess is outdated drivers. Make sure you have updated them all / they are compatible with Windows 8. I would imagine they aren't after looking at the age of that laptop.
