10 and 25 man lockouts in old raids.

Hey,

I have a question regarding instances such as Ulduar and ICC. I've tried Googling this but I haven't found an answer, so I was hoping I could get one here. I was wondering if it is possible to start Ulduar in 10 man, kill and few bosses and then switch to 25 man for the rest. I know it is possible to do it the other way around i.e. kill some bosses in 25 man then the rest in 10, because I did that last week, but I wasn't sure if it is possible to do the other way around.

The reason I ask is because there's an item I want from Kologarn on 25 man for transmogging purposes, so it would be easier (and more importantly quicker) for me to solo kill FL and XT in 10 man, then switch to 25 for Kologarn, but I don't want to do that if it's going to bugger up my ability to kill Kolo on 25 man, since that's the main reason for going; I'd have to wait another week to try again.

Anyone know if it's possible?
