    Upgrade from Sandy To ivy

Guys I recently got the i7 3770k CPU for my PC that I game on, from my i5 2500k.

Anything I should expect differently or no? I Also wonder would I be able to get a mild over clock such as 4.2GHz with the 212 cooler?

No. It won't perform significantly different. Overclock it higher than 4.2.

Ok I would overclock higher but I just am very worried when temps get high.

I don't really know how to mess with voltage on my Asrock z77extreme 4 mobo, so I usually go around 4.2 or 4.3 the max i can get on stock voltage.

I am glad i bought this though, figure it would future proof longer than my 2500k.

What you can try to do now is just to test if your CPU is a superoverclocker.

I have a 2600k and I don't see the point of an ivy bridge.

So my question is will my 212 be fine for a overclock like 4.3 or 4.2 and safe temps?
