Well....the ending was rather dissapointing... Still it does confirm that Garrosh is driven by Pride.

"It's nothing less than my own father would've expected of me."

And at a close up, it clearly shows that there is a gray smoke comming out of him, meaning he's already posessed at this point but he probably doesn't realize yet.

It may or may not dude. My moneys on what you say about him having the seed of a sha in him, but I still would sooner it go that way that he isn't, and his madness comes from his own actions without the sha revving it up.

Well, as I said before, his actions were his own even when he came to Pandaria. Corruption would at this point probably only boost his stregnth but not his ego.

It's quite likely the Sha is perfectly happy to let him do his own thing as long as he exemplifies it.

The video also shows where the voiceclip people claimed "confirms" Anduin's death came from, once again showing that datamining cannot answer all questions.

ah yes, but that also had datamined sound files of Jaina regarding Anduins death, instead of him just being injured.

Back to it though, I have to wonder, word of what Garrosh did will surely get out, among the horde. Surely if Baine finds out what Garrosh tried to do to Anduin, it would break any resolve he has, hurrying him to want to end Garrosh like the other leaders are forming to.

His path was certain: he had gone evil and deserved to die. Jaina is nowhere near that level of evil. Even as a die-hard Horde player, I don't see what she did as all that bad, especially in context.

On topic: I don't think Blizzard will move Dalaran to anywhere. Too much would need to be changed in the LK expansion, and I don't think it's worth the effort to them. Dalaran is too central to the continent to be removed. I also don't see them prohibiting the Horde there, for the same reason. Sometimes, the story that makes the most sense loses a fight against game rules and balance.
They wouldn't have to do anything with Northrend Dalaran, just make a second copy of Dalaran and put it somewhere else on Azeroth while keeping old Dalaran right where it is now. Or they could create two phased versions of Dalaran, one for leveling through Northrend and one for those who are at level cap with only the Alliance seeing the true new version.

My guess would be that Blizzard originally intended to have Anduin die, and then be resurrected by Velen, or possibly Wrathion given the "Two Princes" achievement. But then they changed their mind and decided simply having him critically injured would be better. Blizzard often makes story changes like this in development, so while datamined voice files often give a very good idea of what they intend, often blizz ends up changing plans. Some people have suggested blizz puts in 'fake' voice files to throw people off, but this situation with Anduin, I think the two situations are similar enough that blizz simply changed their mind instead of putting in a red herring .

I really don't see Garrosh attacking Anduin as anything that's particuraly bad. It's not like Garrosh stormed Stormwind Keep and struck the child down while he was hiding under his bed. Anduin confronted Garrosh and nullified the weapon of war Garrosh put a lot of resources into acquiring. Anduin's young, but at this point I wouldn't call him a civilian. He's as much a threat as his father, in his own way.

Voljin kills Garrosh horde side and Varian Alliance side in the siege of Orgrimmar. Calling it now.

Can't wait! And I'm being serious I hope there are more dailies in 5.2 if they bring along a story line like this along with it.

I really doubt that they're going to have as big a lore event as that happen differently for the two factions. They might have Horde following Vol'jin and Varian leading Alliance, but I doubt that Garrosh's death will play out any differently.

    Vol'jin for Warchief!
I want it to happen. I hate Garrosh.
Especially since Anduin's bones are "shattered".

They could have it like the battle for the Undercity in Wrath, the Alliance team could come in from one point while the Horde team comes in from another entrance, and they meet in the middle but this time instead of beating each other up like Varian tried to do to Thrall in Wrath the two sides end up working together. Perhaps Varian and Vol'jin and whoever else ends up there in the raid hold the line making sure no reinforcements come to help Garrosh while we march into the throne room to kill Garrosh.

Seriously? Just... no, just don't. Anduin saved more lives that day when you think, he saved your life, the horde player, in helping against Ishi, and he saved the lives of so many of the orc soldiers there who Garrosh was willing to sacrifice for his insane plan.
Him attacking anduin IS bad, its what a villain does when an heroic character saves people.

Blizz seems wary to have seperate raid content for the different factions, so I doubt they'll go that route. Though they could have quests or a scenarios for each faction that lead up to their forces uniting. A scenario for the Horde marching from Echo Isles and Alliance from Ashenvale and meeting in Durotar could be interesting, then having the raid start at Org's gates.

Anduin is Garrosh's enemy, and came knowingly into danger. I'm not saying Garrosh did a good thing, but I see it as no worse than me killing a Horde soldier that comes up and attacks me.

They've already said that 5.2 will have more dailies, but they'll be more in line with the amount added in 5.1, rather than going crazy with them like with Klaxxi and Golden Lotus dailies.

But I actually do like dailies and I'm not joking, and yes I know I'm in the minority on this one but oh well.

Anduin didn't attack anyone, he stunned Garrosh and disabled the bell from corrupting anymore else, such as the orcs Garrosh was turning into sha.
