    How to drink heavily and stay awake.

    Yesterday I had 10 shots in 10 minutes. Then chugged 7 beers. I can keep it down fine. I just end up passing out 2-3 hours into. How can I stay awake all day while drinking like that? Caffeine?

    Water, caffeine, and food.

    Alcohol dehydrates you, so the water gives you back important hydration, thus keeping your body fit for fighting longer. I don't know why food, especially fatty, works, but I can say from personal experience that it does wonders for your alcohol tolerance. Caffeine keeps you alert enough to remember the damn water.

    A glass of water between every shot/beer or two, and you can usually drink like a scot!

    If you add me on Steam, Skype or whatever program/client I share my info for, please write something to identify you in the "Dude/gal wants to join your club"-message. Just so I know that an actual human is on the other end :P

    Binge drinking on that level will just throw you straight into alcohol poisoning. But it is also your choice. OT spread that out over a few hours instead of a few minutes and you should be alright. Once again it isnt healthy to blow that much into your system that fast.

    I have a better idea, how about NOT drinking that much? Alcohol is a CNS depressant, I mean really that's just asking to pass the fuck out. you shouldn't be drinking that much in such a short amount of time. If you need those drugs to feel good then there's an external problem.

    I read the title as "How to drink healthily and stay awake." Which, while it doesn't make sense, makes more sense than this one. Alcohol is a poison, just be glad you're still alive.

    I drank too much last night and I've been feeling it all day. I've literally eaten nothing all day and have only been able to hold down a single glass of water. Even just thinking about drinking as much alcohol as you can makes me feel sicker right now.

    Why would you want to get fucked up so fast? Yeah the final few hours when you're absolutely tanked are fun but the build up can be just as entertaining.

    Sure in a drinking competition its not a lot but really? Like, I'm pretty sure from other posts you've made you're in the military or have been so I@m not gonna judge however much you wanna drink but what the OP described is pretty worrying behaviour...

    10 shots is basically 1/2 liter, almost a "fifth" of liquor, add 7 beers on top of that, that could result in alcohol poisoning (obviously depending on alch by vol %). Also not really very good on your liver. I'd have to agree, drink a bit more moderately for the benefit of your health.

    I think the fat is used by glial cells which facilitate faster neuron activation.

    I drank like that once, but a lot more. Senior Prom and I ended up in the hospital where my aunt had to hold my dick in order to pee in the cup for a alcohol level test, cuz I couldn't stand whatsoever.

    Needless to say I learned to slow down the drinking. Never again lol

    Depends where you are from I guess, you are a jock, I am mostly irish, we can hold our booze. Even so, I know my limits, I drink slow and all night, a litre of 40% Vodka or Gin is common for me, but I dont pound it back in 1-2 hours.
