need help with new computer (win 8 related maybe)

Hi all, we have in home a new computer with these specs:

    i7-3770
    ECS H61h2-lm3 motherboard
    4 gb ddr3
    500 GB
    nvidia 620GT 1G ddr3
    windows 8

ok so here is the problem:
the gt620 and hd4000 works fine and win 8 boot normally, but I want to put my old (but working) HD5770 1Gb DDR5 VaporX. When I install it, the system wont boot, the screen shows nothing.

in the BIOS there is an option named like "Select OS" where you can choose win8 or win7/others. When win7 selected the 5770 works fine but the OS dont boot, and when win 8 is selected we have the black screen problem.

so, what can we do? reinstall win 7 and forget about win 8?
there is something we can do in windows about the configuration?
    thanks in advance

Moved to the computer forum, this doesn't really belong in build help.

you need to uninstall the Nvidia drivers, and remove them entirely from your computer with a driver cleaner

this is fairly common, there is almost always issues when having both AMD and Nvidia GPU drivers on the same system
