I'm sure it will go sale again.
Personally I didn't care for Ys as much, but Recettear is my favorite jRPG. All around fun game

New vote and flash sales:
A-10C Warthog won the vote and is 75% off, at $9.99
New flash sales:
Hitman Franchise 25%-75%
Sim City 4 75%
Atom Zombie Smasher 75%
If anybody doesn't know what to vote for in the next consumer choice, I'd ask for KotoR. I didn't buy during the last sale because I thought the SW Collection included Kotor 2, but it only included 1, so now I'm waiting for KotoR 2 to go on sale again.

Atom Zombie Smasher looks cool, but I'm not sure if I want that more than DE:HR.
I also really want to pick up DE:HR, but I'm still waiting to see if it goes down any lower.
I think it is because no games have come out in a good window this year for them to be on sale yet. ACIII and FarCry 3 are probably the big names of this year and they just recently came out. Dishonored has been 50% off I think.
I just think that this has been a very poor year for big AAA titles.
No, Steam has dropped the ball this sale, really. Amazon, GMG, GamersGate, Good Old Games, hell, even Gamefly and GameStop have had better deals this sale than Steam. LEGO LotR was $20 daily deal on Steam, $7.50 on Amazon, XCOM was $17.50 on GMG, Mount and Blade was $5.74 on GMG ($8.74 on Steam), Bioshock bundle is $5 on Amazon ($10 on Steam). It's been ridiculous. Plus, in past years Steam did more bundle deals. Many of the bundles I've seen this year were actually a penny more expensive than buying the games separate. Not sure really what Steam was thinking with this sale.

See, I would agree with you, but I don't recall getting many "AAA" titles last sale. I got DE:HR for $9.99, and the rest, that I can recall off the top of my head, where games such as Super Meat Boy and The Binding of Isaac. You know, indie games, or games that would be on sale for something like $3.75. Those gems have lasted me infinitely longer than games like Skyrim...hell, I have played Plants vs. Zombies (71.1 hours) much more than Skyrim (21.4 hours). I don't think it has much to do with "AAA" games, at least not for me. Remember, AAA titles ≠ superior product.
So, new goal. Even if it is just for 15 minutes or so, I want to play every game in my library. Sick of seeing so many games that I bought but have never even played once.
