Black ops you meant? it's been on 17% all sale if im not mistaken, and i don't think it'll go further down the line, most call of duties tend to be a bit... overpriced :x, can't blame them either, people buy map packs (AKA call of duties) like hot bread.

Pretty much any LP of Amnesia (and there are a LOT of them) are hammed up and overblown. I think Day9's is the only loud, screaming one that's actually genuine, and that's just because that's how Day9 is.

But yeah, it's $5 now. If there's someone on your friends list that doesn't own it, buy it for them.

I went into this thinking $10 was the basis for a good deal so everything below was got for 9.99 or less...

    Crysis 2 Maximum Edition
    Metro 2033
    RAGE
    Transformers: War for Cybertron
    Just Cause 2
    Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine Pack
    Assassin's Creed II: Deluxe Edition
    Resident Evil 5
Max Payne 3 (exception...picked this up for $14 as it was like 75% off 2012 AAA title)
    Spec Ops The Line
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Future Soldier - Standard (big fan of the series, but messed up and got impatiend and bought it at $19, it dropped to $14 at one point love the game and was worth it)
    Portal + Portal 2
    Dead Island GOTY
Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Standard Edition
Far Cry 3 (Gift from wife, paid full price, doesn't count)

I didn't actually spend a lot of money, as I buy most AA titles on release day anyway. I did have quite a few gifts from people... things I added to my collection were KoA complete, scribblenauts unlimited, lego lotr, lotr war in the north, trine 2, amnesia, spec ops: the line, FTL, forge, plants vs zombies and the secret world, I think that's it. I also bought dishonored, xcom, borderlands 2, far cry 3, multiple copies of forge and trine 2, for various friends.

  10. #1430
    The Walking Dead - £10.49
Tales from Space: Mutant Blobs Attack - £1.37
    Retro City Rampage - £5.95
    Mark of the Ninja- £5.99
Spec Ops The Line - £6.79
Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams - £4.41
    Far Cry 3 - Deluxe - £24.99
    Thomas Was Alone - £2.99

Plus about £12 on games I gifted to people, so it comes to about £75! Think that's the most I've spent in a sale... so far!

  11. #1431
    Anno 2070 - Deep Ocean DLC/Expansion
Endless Space - Emperor Special Edition
    Hotline Miami
    Galactic Civilizations II
    XCOM: Enemy Unknown (through GMG)
    THQ Complete Pack
    Far Cry 3
    Little Inferno

I've been rather conservative with opening my wallet compared to previous sales.

  12. #1432
    Legend of Grimrock
    Portal 2
    Witcher 2
    Civilization 5

I'm pleased with Legend of Grimrock and Portal 2 but disappointed in Witcher 2 and Civ 5, I'm glad I didn't pay more than I did for them.

I decided not to get the THQ pack. I have way too many games on my plate as it is. Might as well save that $25 for the next sale and get a title that really interests me like XCOM, Dishonored or Farcry 3.

  13. #1433
Game over: 97,35€ for 22 games and the Dawn of War Franchise (not sure how many games that actually are... 7 or 2?).
There are still 10 titles on my wishlist. =P Try again next year Steam!

I really wasn't waiting on a price error and Sleeping dogs was on my wishlist, just had a budget this sale and had to choose between a bunch of lower cost games or just a few high cost games. Still a great AAA game for under 5$ was too damn good to pass, hell I hate black ops but if that would have happened for Black ops 2 i would have bought it too.

Just picked up my last few titles from the sale

    Hitman 2
    Batman Arkham City GOTY
    Natural Selection 2
    The Witcher 2
    Torchlight 2
    Max Payne 3
    Payday DLC
    Assassin's creed 1, 2, and Brotherhood
    Nation Red
    Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory
    Call of Duty: MW2
    Awesomenauts
    Mass Effect 1 and 2
    Jade Empire
    Rigonauts
    FTL
    Rainbow Six Vegas 2

I also gifted a few games as well to some friends: 1 Nation Red, 2 copies of Awesomenauts, Rainbow Six Vegas 2.

I spent $101.49 on myself and an additional ~$20 on gifts for friends.

I definitely did not intend on spending that much on this sale, but on the plus side I have enough games here to keep me all set until next winter sale
