We already have a Post your gaming setup-thread, and we don't need another.
I'm confused on why "how new" is what defines how someone is "hardcore" with their computer, rather than say, how far you push it or even what pricepoint the hardware came in at the time of the hardwares prime.

I have a hard time with the idea of calling a mid range platform (which is super easy to overclock) like the Sandy Bridge or Ivy Bridge "hardcore". It's the newest, sure.
Then get it closed, report it if you don't like it or the idea of it.

Well, he could close it if he so chose, he is a Computer Forum Mod... Either way, I'm gonna go ahead and do it...

The "scale" is too subjective. There's really no way to definitively say where a computer lands because hardware combinations can be so varied. Same goes for computer knowledge, the subject of "computers" is extremely varied.
