    Angry Men and High heels.

A lot of women love to wear high heels as it makes them look taller and have some change in how your body looks while you wear them.
But what about men? When a man wears high heels he's automaticly labeled as gay. But why? they are just shoes and i'm sure some short men out there want to look taller whenever they can but not be seen as gay or weird when they aren't.

What is your view on this? Do you think we're in the age where people should wear whatever they want regardless of gender or do you feel like Men should just be men! high heels aren't manly?

Women are not frowned upon when they dress themselves in a suit or wear baggy clothings or even clothes for men, Most people won't even realise
So why isn't it ok for men to wear them?

    Thoughts?

Well if this guy could pull it off for all those years.

Maybe it's because high heels have been a woman's thing for so many years, just like pretty pink dresses are.

Let's keep sexuality out of the thread please, this can be discussed without bringing that up.

I don't think there's anything wrong... It's just a preference, also, some "high heels" aren't really high heels.

I think it's exceedingly gay. Not judging, but I'm not, so I'll stay away from wearing high heels.

The whole point of heels was to make someone appear more feminine (tits out, ass higher). And make their hips sway more when walking.

Something that was intended to give an exaggerated elegant slick look doesn't translate well to a guy who is physically larger and less curvy.

the first two pictures, to me, don't have the heels feel out of place. The picture following it, it's not the heels, but the entire outfits (dem pants) that make me see them as more feminine. That may be because the majority of people I see wearing the outfit act feminine. But, no, it's not about the heels, it's about the whole outfit.

High heels are damaging to begin with... not sure why someone would want to wear them knowing that.

It's mainly for the appeal it gives and the aesthetic look.

Other than that, there's really nothing else, not even comfort I've heard.

Well I think it really depends on what you wear with it. Then again, that really goes for any type of clothing.

Men used to wear high heels in the 18th and 17th centuries. Look at pictures of George Washington, Louis XIV, others and they have heels probably over an inch high. Later on guys stopped wearing them.

You could probably make shoes with higher heels for men that look good, like higher cowboy boots or those boots Spanish people wear for traditional dancing. The shoes in the pictures though are over the top and ugly, and obviously high heels. Guys that want to look taller can gain a few inches with thick soled shoes which do a good job of hiding the fact the guy is compensating.

High heels? I think it looks odd... But the heels on say, a pair of boots? Sure, that's fine... I have a pair of solid black cowboy boots that I wear almost daily, they look fine.

Now, believe me I use to think those kind of boots were weird to wear... and then I tried on a pair and oh my god they are so comfortable... They also happen to look good with what I wear every day so I wear them.

Just thought I should point out, the heels on cowboy boots, like in the first picture (white) are not high heels... lol... And a lot of men have been wearing those for a LONG time.

A gun is like a parachute. If you need one, and don’t have one, you’ll probably never need one again.

I think they give off the wrong message, so I wouldn't be caught wearing them.
