Gotta love how they're now pre-announcing PTR releases to string players along for as long as possible.

Well I didn't think they'd ignore what happened in 5.1; I'm just wondering to what extent it'll be addressed. Heck, the BElf storyline could be "advanced" simply via a dungeon encounter a la the Nexus along with one-time quests.
I guess I'm uncomfortable with the idea that every patch brings a new faction with a daily questline to advance the narrative. I'd rather they took a patch off every now and then to allow us to concentrate on something else for a short time (and I'm not just saying this because I've barely started Operation:Shieldwall because I'm trying to get my alts and profs leveled >.> <.<)
You're not allowed to discuss conspiracy theories on mmo-champion, which makes me wonder what they're trying to hide.
The wow devs always have a tendency to overuse a new technology. If you recall, they had just added vehicle fights to the game. So they basically wasted a boss on it, and an entire heroic dungeon on it (Occulus). I think player feedback at the time taught them their lesson, remember they had to keep adding bonuses to Occ to get people to actually complete it if it was their random (blue drake mount).
The new tech this expansion is that wind/gravity effect. I would expect to see a few more bosses based around it.
Looks so much like Ulduar. I likes it.
Blizzard, if this really is as good as Ulduar - I fucking love you. EVERY raid should be on par with Ulduar, Karazhan, Serpentshrine - Big raids that can be explored beyond want's necessary are the best raids. Lots of bosses are good too, even if some of them are a joke.
Ok, lets kill some trolls!
That is so true. Occulus had so many changes and bonuses added to it just to get people to stay it was borderline moronic. Players in general hated that place but cause blizzard spent so much time on it they wanted to make sure people went to (and it was still a terrible instance)
You are right about how they use tech. I bet the wind/gravity effects get way over used.
Maybe new 5 man to go along with it. More war bears!
Operation Shieldwall takes about 15 minutes per day, probably less if you have raid gear. For horde, there is one set that takes me literally 5 minutes to do. (shoot down 6 helicopters, kill 8 soldiers, destroy 6 crates, kill 2 captians and blow up 2 ships). I have timed it.. 5 minutes.
Just to explain to people, raids take the longest amount of time for testing. These patches include not just a new raid, but a new pvp season and new tier of gear that requires testing and balancing. Along with new models animations..:raid patches take the most testing.
Announced the day before PTR goes live: "WTF, they could have given us some warning! I've been raiding kinda casually until now but PTR means live soonish, now I'm going to have to bust my balls to get geared for next tier or be benched QQ BLIZZARD!"
Or any of several other ways to pitch a "last minute warning" complaint. People WILL seriously complain about anything. Yes, I'm complaining about someone complaining. Care to complain about it and help make my point?

I found I enjoyed the game significantly more when I stopped paying attention to all the people on the forums telling me how much I am supposed to hate itAll this complaining is simply further proof that Blizzard could send each and every player a real-life wish-granting flying unicorn carrying a solid gold plate of chocolate chip cookies wrapped in hundred dollar bills, and someone would whine that Blizzard sucks for not letting them choose oatmeal raisin.
Is this location currently in game? Looks pretty large and ominous, don't think I've ever noticed it before >_>
So you think we able to forge legendary weapons in this place? Or thats for the last raid of the expansion to fight Garrosh with?
