Haven't seen a thread about this game yet which surprised me.
- Basically, it's one of those old turn-based isometric RPG's but the fighting is done via a deeper version of Gwent.
- The story has 20 'end states' based on the consequences of your choices and takes roughly 30 hours to complete.
- There are already some reviews out about it if you're on the fence. Reception seems to be highly positive.
- There's also some cross-over with the multiplayer Gwent card game, offering 20 new cards to be found in Thronebreaker.

CDPR: Putting more effort and love into a card game spin off than most developers put into their triple A releases. Gwent is the one thing I didnt like in the W3 but honestly considered buying it just to get a chance to return to the world. Also, cdpr deserves my money, W3 was worth a lot more than the 50 dollars or whatever I paid for it.

Yup. Lost me at Gwent. Rather unfortunate because the game looks pretty good.

Gwent isn't going to appeal to everybody...but it wasn't exactly unpopular. My only complaint with Gwent was that the cards did not carry over into a New Game+.

Who is most though? I rarely ever see people complain about Gwent. Hell of the 40ish People I know that play Witcher 3, myself and like 2 other people dislike Gwent and the rest call us weird for not liking it. Originally Posted by Puupi

Gwent was one of my favorite things to do in TW3, not sure why there is so much hate for it.
