Like I said, it's the same bosses, the same location, the same lore behind it, etc. I know that normal and heroic are harder and have additional mechanics. Doesn't make it more interesting for me.

There is a ton more to PvE than just Dungeons... "few" is not even close to describe it, there are plenty of other ways to earn valor points, loot and just plain have fun than just dungeons.

Would I have loved a new troll dungeon? Yeah, I LOVE troll dungeons but I'm not upset about it because I will survive either way.

I see the point you are trying to make but it's quite invalid these days seeing as you can earn valor points from dailies, Scenarios, Raid finder, raiding, heroic dungeons and... Well I THINK that's it, it has been awhile, I generally stick to heroics, scenarios, dailies and each raid finder per week, it caps insanely quick with a large variety and it's quite hard to get bored doing these things.

So if they added a new dungeon or two it would consist of running them multiple times for loot and not valor for most people, especially those with alts; The valor portion only? Well if you're only doing dungeons you are probably the person that loves heroic dungeons and do not mind doing the same dungeon multiple times for your weekly points.

What I find more humorous is the people that seem to be complaining are the Healers. Your class has more than one spec option for a reason. And if you are a double healer, (priest for example) you are only making it harder on yourself.

BUT WAIT! Still using priest as an example... DISC IS A PRETTY OKAY DPS SPEC! Atonement healing is crazy good. Sure it will take you 10 sec longer to kill a mob than say if you were Shadow. BUT YOU ARE THE ONE MAKING IT HARDER ON YOURSELF. I play a priest (not my main but close) and I see very little difference questing or doing dailies between Disc and Shadow. The gear even transfers well. Sure you won't be reforged or gemmed correctly, but if you are complaining that hard that YOU, as a healer, are having trouble completeing the content as intended, then you need to rethink stuff. Hell Resto sham to Ele sham works pretty well... soooo does resto druid to boomkin. The only healing classes out of luck are paladins and monks(maybe, don't know too much about monk healing). Blizzard implimented Dual Spec to stop people bitching about "zomgispendsomuchmoneyonrespecHELP!" Now people are complaining about hitting one button to make their life easier for a few hours. WTG WoW community.

But more on topic.... I am a little disappointed that there are no new 5-mans, but this leads me to believe that perhaps they put more time into the new raid. Which would be awesome. Scenarios, while they get boring faster than 5-mans. Take approximately the same amount of time AS a 5-man. At least from my experience. Sure the loot isn't as great and doesn't have as good of a chance to drop. But it's still faster queue times and another way to gain VP when you are bored and want something different to do.

TLR? Learn your class from more than one spec. Try something new for a change. QQ less.

Basicly - BLizzard will PR whatever. It doens't mean they are right or that their system is actually working to make it a good solid experience for majority of their playerbase. Ive posted my doubts about their current new systems in MOP. I left because of them and I will not return to the game cause they directly hurt my way of playing the game like I did for the past 3-4 years.

But really, you can't compare them not adding instances, which they never even promised, to pvp in a completly different game that imo didn't even gave sence to have pvp in (Read: imo)

Like i said they are adding a whole new raid + world bosses + scenarios + random rare spawns/mobs/group stuff all over pandaria etc. Complaining and threatning to quit just for not getting 1-3 new instances in 1 patch is kinda stupid tbh.

Not attacking you personaly or anything... the whole thing just seems so stupid to argue and complain about >.<

True.. you just dont get the part where ppl willl do the internet porn stuff first and never bother with relationship. Thats why real raiding in WOW is dying cause less players have any reason to bother doing it. The can jerk off to LFR thinking it fullfills all their needs.

Do you know what thread you're in? Blizzard didn't stop making dungeons in 5.2 because they introduced Harvest Moon in 5.0. Neither did they off those dungeons to make more Pokemon. The Scenario part is the only thing actually valid and Thrallsus Christhammer do you realize that MoP is a veritable library of lore? Did you not read a single quest? Did you not watch Anduin make his stand against Garrosh? Did you not even notice the Klaxxi exist? What about Wrathion? What about the "falling green fireballs hitting Azeroth" in our warning to "hurry up and end this world war before the bigger enemy arrives?"

Seriously, drop the bias and open your eyes, it'll help.
Soothing Mist:"Healing them for a minor amount every 0.5 sec, until you take any other action."
Jade Serpent Statue: "The statue will also begin casting Soothing Mist on your target. healing for 50% as much as yours. "
    [What's half of minor?]
"Statue casts Soothing Mist at a nearby ally for toddler healing."

No - it just goes to show that BLizzard way isn't foul proof. I have been pointing out the huge shortcomings of new systems in MOP for a long time - just like many have been pointing out the shortcomings of D3 PVP system. The difference is that WOW can not go back and start over and add 1 more year to their developing cycle. Thats why they might have done good by listening to players in the first place instead of acting like only Blizzard devs know how to make WOW tick.

Ignore the remakes? Why would we?

  9. #449
I like mop, but I think our sub fee is progressively getting less value over time.

look at the amount of dungeons per xpac from bc onward, theres an alarming decline. and thats even INCLUDING remakes that are essentially just the same instances with new npcs.

yes 5.2 has a big raid, and im happy about that. but is that an excuse to put zero effort towards everything else? after i finish my raid for the week, what do I have to do other than dailies?

make new dungeons, and make scenarios more appealing. that would be a good start.

  10. #450
really? this is what were bitching about today? Did you actually expect there to be new dungeons? Are you new or something? This should come as no surprise to anyone who has played an entire expansion.

When a new dungeon comes out the ilevel has to rise. Normally to compensate for the new teir to help boost new players. What more than likely will happen is a bunch of LFR ilevel stuff is gonna get dropped into the new dailys somewhere around ilevel 500 for valor points or whatever. The stuff that used to cost valor will then become Justice points AKA all the shit from the Kalaxxi/shadow pan/Golden Lotus/ect

Why do they do this? Because eventually people will stop running the older LFR's as the content slowly becomes irrelivant. Just think back to 4.3. the new dungeons come out how many people were running the old heroics at that point? The same will hold true for LFR.

You will more than likely see several new dungeons in 5.3. If I had to take a guess it will be one for each of the horde leaders that will eventually turn on Garrosh leading up to the 5.4 patch were we get the new raid to kill him.

So pump your breaks kid this stuff is being telegraphed a mile away just be patient and the new dungeons will be added. They will allow you to leapfrog over much of the content knowing this Blizz is spacing it out with these patches.

Yeah, I noticed this starting when we waited like a year with nothing new in WotLK. It just got worse, so I un-subbed and never been back.

  12. #452
without new dungeons and higher ilvl gear, gearing up if you were late to start raiding will be near impossible. or at least, will take forever.

people will stop queueing for 5.0 LFR content. it will take 2 hours to get a queue pop, and even then you have a 15% shot at gear.

valor gear? the cap is still 1000vp, and that doesnt even buy a ring. cap should be raised to 1250, MINIMUM.

  13. #453
I think new dungeons with free t14 epic quality gear will come in 5.3 which is a good move from blizzard side, extending life cycle of t14 raids a bit more.

IMO that curve skyrocketed at the launch of MOP.

Time for this question again. If you haven't played the game in years, then what exactly do you get out of frequenting the WoW-specific forums? You literally have no experience of what WoW is like post-ICC. I could go on a Doctor Who forum and whine all day but since I stopped watching it early into the Matt Smith era that'd be kind of pointless.

i mean with regard to 5 man dungeons.

there is a lot of stuff to do overall, but it feels like dungeons are getting neglected a bit. maybe thats because of scenarios...

  17. #457
they want you to gear up in lfr which is hilarious. LFR is now the catch up mechanism for this game. My advice is that you unsub if you don't like these changes and my dearest and most devout wish is that millions do so we can get past this bullshit model. The developers have given into virtually every whim of the no life loser crowd. I hope it bites them in the ass.

dungeons are dead, dailies took their place instead...
The trick of selling a FFA-PvP MMO is creating the illusion among gankers that they are respectable fighters while protecting them from respectable fights, as their less skilled half would be massacred and quit instead of “HTFU” as they claim.

I would also be feeling very good about myself if I had quit WOW years ago. And I would keep coming back here to see what pile of junk it has turned into. =) Sadly... I bought annual pass...
