Depends on how/where you farm for splinters.

If you play the game normally and buy random boxes, you can fairly quickly get a couple of extra characters.

My main is 43 right now (Scarlet Witch), I also have colossus (15), cyclops (25), Ms Marvel (30) and Thor (42). All from random boxes.

There is currently a bonus XP and loot weekend, and I plan to make the most of it by leveling up some of my alts. I just wonder whats the best way? I currently follow this guide and do legendary quests in MM, but is there any faster way, cause this feels kinda slow atm?

Yes, Odin Quests the best way for lvling, with rerolling bad ones. X-Def with new queue system is nice too.

News about Asgard patch:

Asgard will be released in a series of 4 chapters in November, December, January and February.

Each chapter will add more to the dramatic story and power struggle occurring in Asgard.

The first part deals with a mysterious attack on Norway. SHIELD and Reed Richards are investigating. Could this be related to Asgard (turns out, we know it probably is, but they are in the game world and don't know yet).

Throughout the 4 chapters, we'll see several boss fights (Loki + more), Legendary items, new enemies, new costumes, new crafting recipes, new UI elements, a raid, a PVP mode, a competitive PVE mode, a siege, new uniques, new artifacts and the wondrous player hub of Asgard (assuming players can help Reed Richards get to the bottom of the mystery of the Bifrost first).

Nah, only for new accounts. Also, if you pick hero which have higher price(400 instead of 200) then you will not receive free 200 eternity splinters after completing story mode.

I think i got Storm or Hawkeye originally, can't remember which one i did pick since i have both now. Or their price. I also have Black Widow and Thor , but those i purchased.
