Cancer is terrible.

Though, if you have been close to it, you have a lot of fearful respect for it. Because it is insanely damaging, both to the body, but mostly to the mind. I hope that, in a few years, the cancer wing of our medical finances will sky-rocket, so we can at least try and kill this disease, or at least stall it...

We wont ever kill it. Not until we can prevent cells from aging. Hopefully we can reach a point where it is possible to treat even when it metastases to other organs.
Were told a case today with a 25 y/o. Diagnosed with malign melanoma. Died 8 months after.
That was rough...
