Ah, yea, I watched most of the live performances for dear mom already Just started following SNSD in fact, but I think Taeyeon has a very nice and strong voice when live. Not to take away from everyone else, since they also sound pretty good live as well. Not used to seeing live performances actually live :P

Basically, that vlog is GEM saying shes been gone for 3 months traveling around the world, working on music if people were curious where she disappeared to :P

lmao GEM is pretty funny. Anyways, that video is part 2 of a vlog about what she was doing during Chinese New Years and the IQ questions she was asking were to help people de-stress from their studies for the DSE exam that probably a lot of people watching the vlog would be taking soon (DSE is diploma of secondary education which is Hong Kong's exam for high school seniors...kind of like an exit exam in order to get their diploma. I could be wrong, but I'm fairly sure it's high school level).

The first one, I'm not sure who or what she's referring to, but she's saying if ???? wanted to buy a toothbrush, they would go to the supermarket to the toothbrush department and ask.

Second, if a blind person wanted to buy a pair of sunglasses, how should they express it? By telling someone they want it like they would if they wanted anything whether its a pair of sunglasses, a necklace, a pair of earrings, or a pair of underwear. Just gotta say it

Third, there's months with 30 days and months with 31 days. How many months are there with 28 days? 12 months.

lol no it's not a joke. she's just using numbers as the first word to say some stuff that you'd probably say to wish people well during Chinese New Years. She says that she only went out a day during CNY to collect red envelopes and eat with family and friends. Other than that, she has to practice/rehearse for her concert (think it's at one of the better known arenas in HK where most singers hold concerts, I don't know what the name is in English ) which is ~50 days away at the time of that vlog, but it is also ~50 days before her sister has to take the DSE exam and they're both super nervous.

The one joke in this is if you have a matchstick and you're in a dark room with a candle, a lantern, and a fireplace, which do you light first? The matchstick

Bah. I really like parts of the song, but in the end it's falls pretty flat. It really had potential, and the dance was cute!

I really don't get NU'EST. They were supposed to be some "urban electro" and the name hints at their genre being very new and unique, but it sounds like it could be any other boy band out there. If I closed my eyes it could've been B1A4, if I replaced the members and put it on mute it would've been a mix of Hello & Dream Girl by SHINee. Please just make something like Face or Action again ;_;

Also watching random clips on youtube, it's probably safe to say none of them can pitch a baseball...from Jessica, to Tiffany and Sunny at the Dodgers game, and Taeyeon accidently hitting someone in the audience with a rubber ball and being super embarrassed lol

I have had a few apps for kpop but since he mentioned game I'd guess those are the ones that are kind of like guitar hero but with fingers on buttons on your phone

Yea, it's like guitar hero but with your fingers. There's two different modes to play, and quite a few songs. They didn't have that many at the start, but they've added a lot from the albums released after. The games themselves (there are "SHAKE" games for other groups too!) are entirely in english, but I get a lot of notices in korean ;_; I don't even know what I'm missing, maybe it's a deal on song packages or something D:
