The ice bucket challenge is some viral thing going on, people challenge each other to do the challenge to spread awareness of ALS (some kind of disease).

Pretty much this. I'm no doctor but ALS is a horrible disease where you gradually lose all control of bodily functions except for your 5 senses...essentially you are completely aware when you are about to die.

Reading about it reminds me of a Japanese drama I once watched that was based on a non fiction diary/book about a girl with a similar disease, SCA, who lived for 10 years with the disease and then died. From the start of when she found out she had the disease she continually wrote diary entries until she couldn't even write anymore. Probably the most depressing thing I've ever watched/read and not a lot of things make me sad.

I think I might literally have to do a Kpop assignment xD
Struggling to come up with ideas for my Artificial Intelligence project, due in 1.5 days! The project proposal not the actual project.
Since I have no clue about games design I can't really do anything with games or it would be super difficult for me anyway, but one thing I could do is an expert system and I guess the main thing I am an expert on is Kpop...and WoW but that is a little out of date. I could do an akinator like program but only with Kpop idols, a full Akinator like program would be a little out of my league for a 6 week project.

Anyone got any other suggestions of types of questions it could ask?

Although that might not even be an expert system, might be some decision tree or w/e it's called. Either one would do though.

Tried Akinator since i didn't know what it was... damn that thing is stupid. Couldn't even guess Choa. Asked me like 5 times if it was a girl. Even ask me if in was in Girl's Generation and then ask me if it was Taeyeon from SNSD. Asked me if she was above 25 and after that asked me if she was between 20 and 25. Cmon Akinator you are bad.

That's odd, I occasionally get some things like that where it asks questions that it can't be because of the previous answer but it's rare, not lots of times during one thing. Let me try Choa.

Okay, the first time something bugged and had to restart, second time it got it with the only random double up question being "are they in a 7 member band" and then "are they in a 6 member band"

Only played 30 times before though, most have been played 100s or 1000s so that might be why, quite limited information. If you play someone it doesn't guess you write who it is then that information goes into the system, so the more someone is played the easier it will be for Akinator to guess it. My program won't work like that, since that is learning based and hard, all the info will just be contained in it xD

Akinator was doing good Until it asked me if it was Taeyeon. Having previously asked me if she was in Girl's Generation i went wtf. Then i said no it's not Taeyeon then he went crazy and asked me repeats and weird questions.

Yea i did, he was right. But for some less knowned ppl he's bad. But to test something like this you actually have to ask for weird stuff to see it they coded it right or not.

Asking obvious things will results is fast answers considering most think of those easy things.

It's like the "mind" trick where you ask ppl to think of a tool and a color. Most ppl will think a red hammer. Just because it's the most knowned thing with the most knowned color.

The weird part is when he gives you an answer, he ask if you want to continue. But if you press Yes he goes up in question numbers, but look like he is resetting his database of answers
