Not sure if I'm in the right stop for this, but whatever


So you have a Chord progression like this: G - E - C - D. All Major. Basically, how would you solo over it?

Im using the G major scale over the G, the C and the D, that I know are the I, the IV and the V in the progression, but the E screws up with me. I can play a few notes over it that sound good, sure, but I don't know which scale I should be using


Any tips?

Ive tried the B, E, and A major scale (modes, that is, can't remember the names), but all of them seem...off. Or maybe I'm doing it wrong. I don't know
