[Heroic] Tsulong 25 man, need help with day phase + opimizing night phase.

    Hello,

We currentely have 14/16 heroic 25 man.
    Just Tsulong and sha left.
last week we killed protector for the first time after only 4hours of trying (just to show you guys we R not a scrub guild)

So this is what happened sunday, and I hope you could help us get the fight together.

In the nightphase we all stack at pull, wait for the first set of nightmares to spawn then run trough the sunbeam and stack on the other side.
There we stay stacked again until the 2nd set of nightmares and run trough the sunbeam and stack once again on the other side. We have 3 locks, 1 spriest and 1 moonkin om the adds, they are free to run around. We are just repeating this the whole phase.
No big issues here, but sometimes the "add" group is spawning random nightmares in the path of the raid that need to run to the newly spawned sunbeam.
The reason this happens is because the "add" group needs to run to the sunbeam right when it spawns for pushbacks/stuns on the small adds so they don't blow up the sunbeam right when it spawns (maybe some bad RNG when sunbeam spawns ? no clue)
So we manage to get in the dayphase with few deaths cause of issue described above.
We have 3 groups of 5 ppls for the positions around Tsulong with their stuns knockbacks ( is this 2 much?)
How do you opitmally deal with the adds and sunbreath in dayphase ? what classes do we let on the big add 24/7 ? or just let them help out on it when it spawns ? completely clueless here tbh.
    tanks : warrior/dk
Healers : 2 disc / 2 restodruids / 1 holy pala /2 shamans / 1 holy priest some help who picks the buff who heals the raid would be helpfull also
    dps: we have everythings available.

    Thanks in advance !!

Night phase is pretty easy. Just spread out (to reduce the rng of 3x nightmares spawning ontop of some slowpoke/pentium3user and respectively oneshotting him). Adds aint a big priority. Beam aint smth mandatory either, just make sure people manage to reset at least once when it spawns (if not, there u go, raid cds + probably focus on adds to make sure next beam wont blow up straight away).
During day we got 5 grps with 2-3 people in and 2 mele on big add fulltime. Blow first add asap (before breath) and then finish off the adds that spawn (they should be on low % providing u killed add fast enough to make use of the breath's dmg). You don't rly need to rush the 2nd add but we usually blow heroism there so it lasts till the end of the day phase. Make sure 2nd add doesn't die to early (so ur raid wont get feared 24/7) and kill it respectively right before breath. For the 3rd add you need to zerg it asap (and respectively put some CC for the incomming unstable sha). Then its night and rince repeat. Finish off those unstable sha so they don't heal boss and possibly use solar beam on the wrights (adds that spawn from big add). Rince repeat rly. Make sure people "don't finish their casts" when nightmares spawn.
Also, disc is horrible on this fight (at least for tsulong healing)

If you can I'd sub out one of your healers for a mistweaver monk. Monks are beastly on Tsulong and Life Cocoon will benefit your druids as well. If you do get a monk, they should have priority on the first Day buff followed by both of your shamans.

Our guild does the stack strat. Sounds like yalls issue is just people need to pay more attention. Nightmares go out then hit like 3 seconds later, your raiders should be waiting and then just reset rather than facerolling into it and dying. In day phase we mostly have a few ranged dotting and slowing adds never interrupting, and the rest all stacked in front of boss . The adds lose 15% hp per cast so just heal it. We have a combat rogue stun the big add after a dk grips to in front of boss (sometimes 2 grips are needed), then a ret pally stun the last bit until it dies. This ensures so terrorize goes out but your spriests need to be ready to MD. DKs mass grip tiny adds and are stunned by our brew/wind monks, use solar beam if cant stun.

Looks like you're using too many disc priests for this fight. Holy trumps them hard because of GS

    Hello again,
I said I would reply back here after wednesday raid so,

We only had 1 hour progress on it cause ppls failed on protectors hc -_-
But in that one hour our best attempt was 20% left on boss so not that bad imo, but we can still improve A LOT cause that try we had some rng luck I think.

We found a very nice tactic for night phase.
Gonna quickly explain it to help ppls that read this and might struggle with night phase.
When we pull boss we all stack up untill the first nightmares spawn, when they spawn we move to the sunbeam and stack in it. The adds spawn and we let them hit the beam when they come close, obv every1 resetted their stacks right before the sunbeam is destroyed + you move away from beam when the adds R about to run in it. The reason we do this is because we will not have new adds spawn then, the next sunbeam.
So the next sunbeam spawns we stack back up in it killing the adds now pushing them back en depleting the sunbeam, right before it expires melee come and reset stacks also. Next sunbeam we let the adds run in again, and just repeat this untill day phase.

What happened for us in the day phase: (We went 7healers, should we go 8 or is this fine ?) 1st add died before breath 2nd one died too early but that was no problem, and the 3rd add died 2 late.
We popped BL right when 2nd add spawned (maybe we should use it for pull? no clue) or maybe for the 3rd add ? what is optimal?
The small adds r really no problem when you don't interrupt them, piece of cake.
The reason we wiped was the transition phase from day to night. how do you handle it ?
Any help or feedback woule be great, thanks in advance !!

Have your healers stand over by Lei Shi stairs with the rest of the raid pulling from the entrance stairs side, BL on the pull for the dps.

BL again in the first day phase whenever is best for your healers.

To kill the 3rd add in the first day phase have your dps pop their CDs and 2nd pot to get it down and the adds spawned before the last breath, this should make the transition smoother, you don't want those fears going off at the start of the night phase.

We used that lusting strat when we were starting tsulong progression with less gear. Seemed to work pretty well. Make sure your dps arent tunneling back into tsulong on the transition and making sure those adds die asap, then get back into position after first nightmare.

Edit: For that lusting strat, only the luster needs to stand on the entrance stairs, not the entire raid. The raid can stack at the boss to start dps asap.
