Haste... really?

Other hunters have been telling me that haste makes our serpent sting, black arrow and explosive shot dots tick faster. Is this true? As far as I remember, it has never done this and nothing recently posted about haste even mentions it.

Melee classes don't get faster ticking DoTs. For Melee, haste gives more resources.(And Yes, Hunters are a "melee" class, physical RDPS if you would.)

Haste affects your Shoot timer, Focus regen, pet attack speed, aimed shot speed, and steady/cobra shots.
That's about it though.
