    Are these people oversensitive?

    http://www.centralfloridafuture.com/...mpus-1.2810205

“The female bathroom sign always has a woman with a skirt, and the male bathroom always has a man with pants," Student Union director Suzi Halpin said. “Many students found these signs offensive. Where you go to the bathroom should not have to do with your sex.”

I think they will complain about anything they get a chance to. Getting really old, really fast.

Would you use a same sex public bathroom? Im really interested in hearing from women, men dont have the same aiming capablities and get messy in there.

I think they should make them both look the same and then deal with the screams of women when men enter their restroom.
The most successful tyranny is not the one that uses force to assure uniformity but the one that removes the awareness of other possibilities.

Considering doing your business in the bathroom requires undoing one's pants, they should be separate by gender.

I find it highly unlikely that women would want to share public bathrooms with men.

I found out something recently that makes me jealous of the women's bathrooms in my building. They have couches in there!

Well they want equality.. I think they should have to share public bathrooms with men. The sheer hilarity of it would be worth it.

Good to know that someone doesn't know the difference between the sexes.

Did you even read the article? I am guessing not.

Gender-neutral restrooms, in their current form, are single, stand-alone rooms, similar to family bathrooms, Halpin said.

I am all for these types of bathrooms. Call it whatever you want, I do not give a fuck. In fact, call them what they are and nothing else, bathrooms. Putting up that there is no distinction implies that a distinction was there to start with. I have never seen a single bathroom marked as only men or women. Anyone with a brain can realize that the bathroom is for anyone.

No surprise that nobody reads a damned thing. Would at least hope that OP did, but likely not unless they are just bitching to bitch.

People whine about anything these days. Everyone is a victim. I highly doubt many women really want gender neutral bathrooms.

These people are just downright stupid.

    Uh, what?

I don't get it. Who has a problem with what? Is this about guys trying to bullshit their way into womens' restrooms or what?

Making public bathrooms in this format would cost a lot more money than they do right now.

They aren't oversensitive, they are simply that stupid. It's tipical "let's attention whore, because its hot topic". I mean really ? So now having separate bathrooms is sexist ?
It kinda remind me of situation when someone pointed out that only showing girls on doll comercials and only showing boys on car/legos ones also is sexist. Normal people should simply ignore that and let that morons choke up on they own bullshit.
Btw showing females as only ones capable for being pregnant is sexist. I demand more spotlight for male-pregnancy.

As they are right now, perhaps. In that men's rooms are mostly urinals which are cheaper. Hey, just put a trough in, you know. But they cost less than making separate bathrooms for each gender, like they have now. You make a single bathroom for both and it costs less as well as offering more privacy. Win fucking win.

I can tell women the worst thing for a man to have to endure in public... It's realizing they have to take a dump at a public restroom (mostly bars, movie theatres etc). We pray to never EVER have to take a dump at a bar...

What about in places that have a large amount of people working or going to school? Public restrooms are able to be used by several people at once. If you limit it to one person per bathroom, you'd have to build four or five of them, which would be drastically more expensive, as well as take up more space.

    Yes, they're oversensitive.

Have two squares of different colors on the door in place of the traditional symbols, and let the women choose the colors. I don't think a man would care so long as everyone shut up and moved on.

Just to be clear, while men piss on the seats, most of the time public restrooms for women are dirtier than mens. Women clog toilets with all sort of stuff it wasn't meant to, use toilet paper to cover the seat, then try to flush half the roll...

At my work, we have the two single use identical rooms, one of which used to be marked for male, and one female, now both just lack the signs. The one lady at work always used the mens room anyway, because "there's always toilet paper in there, and always plenty of soap".

These sort of whiny bitches should be hung from lamp posts and beaten. I'm utterly disgusted and sick of this self-entitled movement we're seeing these days. Some people I genuinely believe are just nothing more then defective and shouldn't be alive ...
