So, what's new?

I haven't played much D3 in a while, but I got this sudden urge to smash a horde of demons. Still feels good.

My WW Barb still works the way I remember, which is a nice surprise. I'm sure his gear is absolute rubbish now, it wasn't anything special last summer, but he still mows through AIII Inferno pretty easily.

Anyone mind catching me up? Is the game still all about farming AIII elites for that occasional multi-million gold drop to put on the AH? Are there any particularly useful, yet affordable (I sold all but a few million of my gold), legendaries I should try to acquire? Is a sprint/whirlwind spec still a good spec to run? What MP settings make sense for my dude? I saw a bunch of Monk damage boosts in the patch notes, should I dust off my Monk?
