My name is James but i go by Jimmy. I don't hate my name because I lucked out in the cool name department. What if I was named Nico or some stupid shit like that.

Nope, Richard is a fine name, I love it.
sup Richie
James is a good name.
I don't hate my name, but like many people I prefer a nickname. Xavier sounds too pretentious in my head (pronounced X-a-v-er, not Javier), and my parents said they named me after Professor Charles Xavier, so yea. People call me XJ or X which is better imo.
thats pretty awesome professor X
yes, i hate my 1st name & have no intention of mentioning it here.
lots of ppl tell me they like it, but personally im really not that keen.
What's wrong with a name like Nico? And lol sorry but I don't think Jimmy is from the "cool name department." I think it's from some 99 cents store "common overused generic name shop."
If I sound mean, it's because you shouldn't discriminate against different names just because of your own preference. That's very insulting.
Anyway. My name is rather unique and it's awkward introducing myself to people, but it's cool having a special name that isn't so common.
I don't hate my name.
It would be kinda awkward to have someone else introduce me in Japan tho as my
name is pronounced the same as "husband" in Japanese.
[i guess they would use the full name anyway, using first name seems to be rather big thing in Japan]
My mother wanted to name me "Samuel" but my father was against it so it never happened
which is a good thing. That name would probably have bothered me.
my full name is James Thomas William Lloyd.
My name is David, a common name but I like it
I don't particularly like what my family calls me, but I like what my friends do. Family-Matthew/Friends-Matt
The only thing I don't like about my name is that people think my middle name (Morgan) is my last name and my last name (Barry) is my middle name.
Named Matthew, go by Matt, and yes, I hate it. A few years ago I was talking about changing my name to Aidan and my mom was like, "I was actually planning on naming you that, but it wasn't a popular name at the time." /tableflip! I love the name Aidan and when I think I was close to actually having it from birth it irks me so much. lol
I would probably legally change my name if given the chance, but I haven't actually looked into what the eligibility requirements are or what the process is to do it.
