You never bought a game second hand loved it and then bought future installments or other titles from the developer? Ensuring potential customers who feel your product is not initially worth the AAA price tag experiences your content is the BEST solution to copyright. If it's good enough and they enjoy it they will buy from you in the future.

As a fan of Gamefly, it's been good giving you my money, but it's time for me to fly away.

Always liked them since I could rent the game and just buy it if I liked it enough. (they send you the case as well as everything thats in it. Hell they even give you the crappy leaflets that everyone throws away lol.

Its not confirmed, just speculated by the co-founder. Lets get that straight. But if it goes to that I won't really have an opinion, cause I would need a whole look of the new console before I could give out my whole opinion.

Used games fuck publishers and developers out of tons of cash. Why do you think so many studios are closing left and right? People would rather save 5 dollars and screw over the developer in the long run. You never get back what GameStop and co. sell your copy for anyway, it's good for nobody. "Don't you ever buy a used game and get hooked on a new franchise?" holds no weight; that same game new is already discounted if it's been out a few years; buy it new and support the people who made it even if it costs you an extra 5 bucks.

Guarantee you there will be license transferring just like there is with DLC when your console shits out now; I'm sure if you bring your account with you you can play games licensed to that account on a friend's xbox. This is good for the industry.

As far as I know, PS4 won't be backwards compatible, which sucks big time, and now this for XBox.. I won't bother with either, PC ftw. However, I'm definitely buying a Wii U in a year or so, big fangirl of games like Zelda, Mario, Donkey Kong, Metroid etc. can't help it ^_^
