After watching several game play reviews I began to notice a growing trend.
People referring to ANY type of shooter(and in some cases games that simply feature guns) as FPS.
FPS stands for First Person Shooter.
Using the term incorrectly makes the gaming community look bad as a whole.A First-person shooter (FPS) is a video game genre centered on gun and projectile weapon-based combat through a first-person perspective; that is, the player experiences the action through the eyes of the protagonist.
So if you know someone who is using FPS incorrectly and let them know.
