    As far as what I started vanilla with, Athlon XP 1500+ / 512 MB DDR / FX5200
    Then got a laptop.

    The actual beta installer, which I still have for some reason, and my actual GeForce 4 Ti 4200 with Zalman (non-passive =/). It still works like a champ.
