I didn't have too many problems with the game. Yes, the combat is easy, especially as a sorcerer, but I somewhat enjoy being overpowered occasionally.
My main problem was the sheer amount of quests. Yes, a lot of content is not necessarily a bad thing, but the content felt repetitive at times; it was always "kill x trolls" or "run through this dungeon you've seen 4 times before and kill all the enemies".

Don't get me wrong though, a lot of the quests are pretty interesting and keep the game enjoyable, it's just that at times it felt like they were going for quantity and not quality.

Yeah, I liked the concept and all of the quests I did and had a lot of fun with the combat. I've been considering picking it up, is why I ask.

Well, one of the deal tracker sites I use is saying that Gamersgate has it for 70% off, on the American site.
I can't verify it because it redirects me to the UK site, where it's only 16% off.

If it works for you it could be worth picking it up there; Steam wouldn't do it much cheaper, if they even do it at all.
