I am still puzzled, from a gameplay perspective, over the way they're making the classes. Some classes seem very strong with the right player behind it. For an example, I'm joining BG's where I'm in fighting all of the 20min of it, but I do not die once, because I know how to utilize the LoS from WoW and the slide that clerics have. To kite people, while healing yourself, using your beam to heal others and having sick CC effects does seem very strong, but the game makes it work to an interesting extend.
I'm interested in seeing what key mechanics they will put in other classes, because those we have now works amazingly well and in almost perfect synergy.
I never tried 4E Rangers, nor 4E at all. But I usually always play ranger in the serious campaigns we're having now in both Pathfinder and 3.5.
I'm even Ranger in our ADnD campaign that has been running for... two years and still going strong lol
