I had forgotten about this change going in this patch since we were so focused on the sac nerfs, but i got to use it and im not sure if i like it or not.
In one way, it will help for large burst damage occurances since we will build up a nice absorb in the meantime, and once you get it going its pretty nice.
However this makes healing our pet if we are going supremacy over sac more difficult, and while he gets a nice absorb too, hes not getting a steady heal, so voidwalkers not nearly as great a tank as he was for solo/questing (tested him against some dinos on the isle of giants, he can tank the giant raptor babies but may die depending on your dps and need a resummon once, he can kill the triceritops babys without a problem but the flying dinos two shotted him.
The trick is when you have fights that dont have a lot of time to build up agony..saw this last night on Horradon, and as affliction i didnt get much benefit out of the absorb because adds werent lasting long enough to get me a nice pile of absorb.
while i suppose this makes it a 'balanced' change, im not sure it was done factoring in the switch over to supremacy from sac. With the need to now heal our pet seperately, or let it die and resummon, we have less dps time as a result.
