Cool When I was young I was about 378 pounds

When I was young I was about 378 pounds. My mother took me to the doctor 1 day and he told her I was obese. My mom got scared didn't want me to get diabetes because it runs in the family. From that point on my mother put me on a strict diet. I lost about 144 pounds in 5 months, and then 3 months later lost another 80 pounds. What I thought was funny about this was, I lost so much weight without exercising. Prior to the day of the diet my mom got me a gym membership. She thought I was going but I just went to my girlfriend’s house. I didn't start going to the gym till I got to about 200 pounds. When I went back to the doctor and saw how much weight I lost I almost cried. I learn 1 thing about life that day. Weight loss starts in the kitchen!

good luck to anyone who's trying to lose weight, you can do it!

if my fat ass can do it anyone could!

    ----------------------------------------------------

The food my mom fed me:

all the meat was cooked on the grill.

    3 meals a day.

    fish:
    chicken:
    wheat bread:
    rice:
    water:

Ofc it starts in the kitchen. You dont get fat without excess calories. Your workout and metabolism decides what is excess.

If only people could understand that the majority of your ideal weight comes from eating properly. If you're overweight and are eating properly, you will lose weight. If you're underweight and eating properly, you will gain weight. (Though, speaking as someone who always ate a lot and was underweight aka skinny, it didn't seem so, but I think the older you get your body balances out assuming you're still eating correctly. I could never get over 120 pounds all the way until I was 23. Now I am 143 and stay + or - 3 pounds of that for the last year.)

Losing that much weight that fast isn't really that good for you. Not the worst thing in the world though.

how exactly could that be unhealthy? other than the excess skin you'll show from shedding the fat.

To be honest, in cases where the person is extremely overweight, they're eating substantially more than the average person. Just eating normal meals will result in huge and rather rapid losses until you reach a more sustainable mass.

Yeah I kind of questioned that too. Not to discredit the OP but I think it's a little exaggerated.

He could be so good looking that he attracts women who make $200, 000 a year salary. Quite dangerous.

and how exactly will that be any different from him being fat and his heart having to work harder? sure that extra fat isn't doing his bones any favors either.

It just is, I dunno. Why is it worse for wear when an object goes from hot to cold very quickly rather than more slowly?

it really has no effect unless you're like 500 pounds or something (or really old), then i can see the weight of your body heavily interfering with day to day activities

Did you just say that 378 pounds would have no effect on your body and day to day activities?

    Not if you're young.

Unless your job is to run a mile every day, because then you might just be fucked.

But no, being 378 pounds is not the end of the world, it does not mean that you cannot walk, bend over, or pick up heavy equipment. That's all I'm saying.
