Bias Poll is Bias. I highly doubt a country that hands me ham and calls it bacon is the most respected!
(This is Obviously a completely serious post)

Polls like this are silly. Sure it's a great country but there are many others just as good or better.
I don't know anyone that seriously hates Canada, we may laugh a little at them but thats as far as it goes.

Because apart from those drawings, Denmark never does anything to stand out. Apart from exporting very high quality bacon though.

Yup, we are the 51st state, or 52nd. We could debate this with Canada over who is which but I doubt we could be bothered, we would both have a nice cup of Tea and a Bacon sandwich instead.
Been all over the U.S and Canada is pretty much exactly like the U.S when you compare relative regions. The only difference is Canada is much more socialist in nature. You also feel a lot safer here (as a whole) and our international views while being almost a 100% mirror of the U.S isn't as aggressive as the U.S. Public opinion in Canada about wars and conflicts restrict the government from committing a huge amount of resources to these things, while we are still involved as part of pacts made with other nations/good will, Canada is largely a peacekeeping nation on the world stage. Canada for example never officially went to Vietnam, but there was a HUGE amount of service people in Canada that joined American branches so that they could help with the effort.
I live in Atlantic Canada and aside from having to go far to do anything (as the population is much more dispersed) there is very little difference between NE Canada and the NE United States.
The only anomaly Canada has that can't be compared to the U.S is Quebec, but honestly Quebec is pretty fucking amazing all jokes aside. British Columbia (the southern part) shares so much in common culture wise and how they live to and of the NW states and even California.
All in all what I am saying is Canada is a lot like the U.S but slightly different. Those slight differences are things that stand out on the world stage and at large give the U.S a negative image.
Like honestly if you stripped universal health care in Canada and added about 300 million people, there would be such minor differences between the two countries.

all you have to do is get to canada and you can claim refugee status its not hard
I wish our beer was cheaper. I do envy America for that.
Damn our government likes to fuck us on taxes.
Sucks to be European then. My causin went to study in Quebec and never came back to The Netherlands. Looked into moving to Canada myself a few years ago and it's pretty hard to be honest unless you're a highly qualified engineer or doctor or something in that direction. Canada.... so much space... so few people. The density is a joke.
If that's what you make fun of Canada for, you've obviously never heard of poutine.

I think one of the things Canada really has going for it (as someone mentioned above), is how friendly people are. Even in the big cities in Canada, people are friendly. In many countries, in the big cities, the average person on the street can be a confrontational jerk. I never encountered anything of the sort in Canada, except the time I was accosted by a man (who was obviously an immigrant from the middle east) who said me and my president devil Bush should die for starting the war (this was back in 2007).
Even the beer we send down to the states is 4x cheaper then we have to pay up here. It makes no damn sense.
Well, I think I speak for most Americans when I say that we view you as America without 'murica.
How is questioning the objectivity of a phone survey equal to "hating on Scandinavia"?
It's very possible that these 42 000 live mainly in those 10 countries. I don't like these questionable rankings. It's like some people that always feel the need to explain to you how happy they are...
