We're stuck on Tortos for 2 nights and it seems there's just too much damage to heal through if we DPS down the bats. So our RL decided to have a monk kite the bats and it seemed to work better, however the monk kept dying at some point. Also, our ranged dps looked sub par on the shells. We still havent been able to get Tortos down past 50%. Any advice?

What tank classes do you have?
The bats do more damage the less health you have so the bat-tank (amazing batman joke) needs to be topped off at all times, monk probably being the worst class to have on them due to constant stagger, blood DK being the best

On the shells you just need to burn the first one that spawns and then dot them up and casually take them down

But to sum it up

-Don't be too afraid of putting some melee on turtles to help the ranged if they are struggling, the turtles hitboxes are rather on the large side, we used 2 DKs for that in my guild.
-Excess shells are kicked into the bats, helping your melee AoE them faster.
-Spreading ranged along the sides can help some guilds i hear, not something we did but hey, might be worth a shot.
-rockfall rockfall rockfall, check how much your raid is taking from it, the AoE is slightly bigger than their indication circles, perhaps the healers are sinking a lot of healing into that instead of your tanks.
-If bats are still owning your tanks during the stun, have someone pick up an AoE stun, Warrior shockwave etc, and use it just as the stuns happens, your stunned, the bats are stunned, and it all works out lovely.

DK tank on boss, Warrior tank on adds or Monk tank to kite.

Make sure you are kicking the turtle shell THROUGH the bats into the boss. Iirc it stuns them and they take increased damage (along with the boss taking increased damage). You could probably time it really easily since you have three turtles per breath cast.

You really should put the Warrior on the boss and have the DK on the adds, its ridiculous how strong DK is on them
