    Build Check

So its come time to upgrade my pc, my old ones pretty terrible now so can't salvage anything. I am pretty much just worried about playing WoW at the moment mabye the odd bit of diablo 3 or league, i would like to be able to run on Ultra with 60fps if possible and eventually would like to give a go at recording some of our raids. I am from the UK and have a budget of around £1000, i don't need an os or any extras just the base unit. I've come up with a basic build just looking for some confirmation that its all compatible and see if anyone can offer some tweaks make sure there are no dud's in it.

Here is what i came up with

    CPU Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor £164.34
CPU Cooler Thermaltake CLP0564 101.6 CFM CPU Cooler £44.99
Motherboard Asus P8Z77-V LK ATX LGA1155 Motherboard £91.99
    Memory G.Skill Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory £40.65
HDD Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive £69.96
SSD OCZ Vertex 4 128GB 2.5" Solid State Disk £101.94
Video Card Gigabyte GeForce GTX 670 2GB Video Card £307.98
Case Cooler Master HAF 922 ATX Mid Tower Case £93.58
Power Supply Corsair Enthusiast 650W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply £65.98
    Optical Drive Lite-On iHAS124-04 DVD/CD Writer £12

    Total Cost £992

Thanks in advance for any help.

Can probably bump the HDD down to a blue series if that shaves off a few bucks. If it's used as a storage drive (seeing as u have the ssd listed) there's no real benefit from a black series drive.

I don't have any info on the cpu cooler you picked out, but around here the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO is one that's often recommended. Can also shave a few bucks off of your build.

If you end up going for even more RAM at some point in the future (comes in handy with streaming) - you might want to check out low profile ram. Having two G.Skill ripjaws shouldnt really matter, but using four in combination with the aftermarket cpu cooler might not fit.

Other than that... looks solid to me.

    1) New CPU cooler. One of the best air coolers on the market.
    2) New RAM. It is cheaper and will still fit under the cooler. It is measured at 41mm, where Noctua says 44mm is the highest you can use with the cooler.
    3) New SSD/HDD to save money.
    4) New case. It is a bit cheaper and is also a bit better than the HAF 922, not to mention quieter. If you wanted white, it could be even cheaper.

Idwr has a very good build, but this Sig2 EVGA 670 is only £10 more than the GPU in his build.

Waste of money when the WF3 model is considered one of the best out there but if you prefer EVGA then go for it.

With Aria you have to factor in delivery costs. You're paying around an extra £11+ delivery. It will be cheaper if you buy the case from Ebuyer (link) and the Processor from Amazon (link).

The RAM will also take quite a long time to reach you as well even though it's a great price for great performance RAM. It might be worthwhile if you order the RAM from ebuyer as well since you can get some nice Crucial Ballistix for a similar price.

    Edit.

Scrap the RAM comment about the Crucial Ballistix. They are sold out. RAM prices are getting crazy expensive at the moment....
