Yeah, I've set that the comp will shut down at 75Celcius, and when I tried the OC it was at stock temp (30 celcius in a room at 21) and with prime 95 it was at 50 max

So I think everything is allright
    My first build:
Storage: Kingston SSD Now V200+ 120G and WD Caviar Blue HDD 500 G
    Processing Units: i5-3570k @ 3.8 Ghz cooled by 212 Evo and MSI Twin Frozr 3, R7850 @ 900, 1200
Mobo, Ram, PSU Gigabyte Z77-D3H and G.Skill ripjaw 2x 4G with XFX 550w
If I am unreadable, its not because I hate grammar, its because Im french-canadian

    Those temps are pretty good.
    I'm running i7 - 3930k at 4.6Ghz, and idling at 45C . ~80C under Prime95 .

Looking at your BIOS, 11 - 11 - 11 - 28 are quite horrible timings for the RAM.
Which 8GB G. Skill kit are you using?
Is the memory Dual or Quad channel?

  3. #23
G.Skill ripjaws, I don't know if there is a more specific name, but they are in dual channel

    edit

They are supposed to run in 9-9-9-24
how do I change/set this but maybe its because its running in the bios?

    second edit

Does it change something very important or its only a minor thing?

Turn on X.M.P, and it should automatically set it to the timings it is supposed to run on.

Okay but does it do a noticable difference?

Load an xmp profile out. Nobody mentioned here that you shouldn't use the 3D bios but just the normal uefi interface? That 3D bios seems to be very limited.

    Steps

    1. Go to normal interface
    2. Page M.I.T.
    3. Advanced memory settings
    4. Extreme Memory Profile (X.M.P.)
    5. Select Profile #1

If you look at the BIOS pictures OP posted, there is an option for X.M.P right there.

Here we go, went in the advanced menu but then I saw that I only had to got in the same place of clock multiplier

    Now I have 9-9-9-24

And the 3D bios isn't bad, if you look everywhere you have the same option has the advanced, but in a more friendly interface (okay a bit less advanced option, but its called 3d bios ^^ )

    Yush, working as intended.
Usually the memory is under-clocked by default.
    That's why you had 11-11-11-28

Next step would be trying to get the computer to boot with CPU @ 4.0Ghz.
You should start with stock voltages, and then if it's unstable, higher the core voltage.

Do not go over 1.3V, though.

    @Op

Going to instruct you a bit.

    1. Go to Advanced Frequency Settings > CPU/PCIe base clock set this to 100.000000MHz
    2. Go to Advanced CPU core features > Intel Turbo boost technology set this to 40
    3. Go back to home of M.I.T. > Advanced voltage settings > CPU core Voltage control set this to 1.10-1.15V (tell me exactly how much voltage you set)
    4. Stresstest with prime95 and open cpu-z, give me your vcore so I can check if the LLC needs to be tweaked or not.

I'll wait before doing another try, I'll read more about OC (and I'll get a new HDD, it might not be related, but if it is I'll only have 50go of storage, and its not enough)

Sounds like the i5 3570k is pretty simple to oc, glad i decided to grab 1.
