    can you even overclock?
i somehow get the feeling you aren't even gonna use a fraction of the potential of that hardware.

  5. #5
That seems like an awful waste of money for a machine unless your going to be doing some simulations or high end renders.

  6. #6
ya its overclocked and hell no its not a waste of money! Its gonna be fun! :P

    Looks like a prebuild...
    looks like waste of money??
    2x titan? ...
I bet you won't even use one at his full potential and titan aren't at their full potentiel yet

What are all of these + numbers? I can tell you the Titan costs a lot more than 451... of whatever currency you try using.

Well done my man, allow me to bow to the complete awesomeness listed above.

If you were to make the post a little more organized, I'd consider reading what you bought

  11. #11
its copied off the receipt from the build I made. The plus is what it was more than the original cards they had on the base system.

I don't want to type that much sh!t in lol

I assume you'll be using 3 27" ips screens. Have you seen the case you bought? It's horrible, unless you're into the gremlin/space invader/startrek look.

  14. #14
ya it started as the feng III black mamba crap so I upgraded it a lot

    yep already have the screens

factory overclock =/= overclocking it yourself. (hell that cpu likely got plenty of headroom or a way too high voltage with factory overclock and i doubt they would even overclock the titan(s).)
you are missing out on most of the fun by not building and overclocking the rig yourself and i think im not alone with that thought.

I have 2 kids so the chances of them not getting ahold of some parts is slim to none sir

  17. #17
Unless you take days to build it yourself I think they would have play in your build... anyway you could have manage to build when they are at school or anything
The only thing that seem very long to do it's the custom watercooling ...

I'm not trying to sound like an ass, but almost everyone on this forum recommends everyone to build their own PCs. Almost no one here has respect for someone who got "THE ULTIMATE GAMING MACHINE" for $5000 when they could have built it themselves for $2500. Even then, $2500 is nice, but a waste, when it will only be at most 10% better than a $1200 build.

I'm glad you got that PC, but you wasted money. You do not need an i7 (3970k at it WTF) unless you are doing some super rendering. You do not need two titans. There is not a single game that can even make a titan the bottleneck of the system.

    Congrats on the build, though.
