The changes that they have made for this game are quite good. Of course, it just hit beta, so there are some odd bugs here and there, but I ran through a full game yesterday (small map, 4 empires) without any major hiccups. I'm really liking the changes to fame, champions, food/growth, and the new swarm tactic.
