    Question Single player game similar to EVE Online?

    Being a bit of a space/sci fi geek I enjoy space and spaceship related stuff. Apart from EVE Online I can't think of any games where I can fly around in space being a mercenary or a trader or whatever. Is there any sort of single player sandbox space game similar to EVE? Either for PC or PS3.

    I HIGHLY recommend X3 for the tyoe of gameplay you are looking for in SP.

    It's a PC series and they have like 3 or 4 expansions. The game is MASSIVE and very deep.
